Hybrid Athletic Club combines studio style training and a membership atmosphere.  We provide cutting edge training programs at an affordable price and in an inviting atmosphere.  We create our own expertly designed programs from our one-on-one personal training programs, to our unique group fitness classes, and one of a kind Hybrid Health Plan.  Hybrid’s goal is to make sure you are working hard and playing hard.

Owners Kjersten Bakke and Brad Gordee provide a comprehensive approach to health, with both fitness and nutrition expertise.  Our team of registered dietitians and certified personal trainers provide the guidance you need to reach your athletic performance and weight loss goals.


Kjersten Bakke is a two-time graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  She received her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience, and later her law degree.  

Kjersten was a two sport varsity athlete at Wisconsin, competing in both basketball and track.  She served as a basketball team captain her senior year and holds several women’s basketball weightlifting records.  Her experience as an athlete in the Big-Ten conference is the foundation of her training techniques.

Kjersten is also a drug-free professional bodybuilder who actively competes and coaches athletes.  As a coach, Kjersten must have an in-depth knowledge of a variety of training and dieting methods.  She uses these scientifically sound and proven training and dieting methods with her personal training clients.  Her goal is to help Hybrid members create a healthy lifestyle that doesn’t involve unsustainable diet practices.


Brad Gordee is a life-long fitness and strength training enthusiast who enjoys challenging his body using different training techniques.

Brad is CrossFit Level 1 Coach, a certified TRX instructor, a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do, and he holds a number of group training certifications.  Anyone who has worked with Brad quickly realizes that his training background makes him a perfect fit for Hybrid Athletic Club members looking to keep their workouts fresh and challenging.

Brad works with clients in both one-on-on and group training settings to get the results they want, and FAST!  He uses his wide variety of experience to develop unique training sessions designed to maximize muscle and minimize fat.
